1) Connect to CM Commerce

When setting up your promotion, go to the Connect Email Service section and click on CM Commerce.

2) Accept Permissions

To connect to your CM Commerce account, you need to accept the permissions we are requesting. Simply click the green Authorize button to proceed.

3) Choose a List

We will automatically display your CM Commerce lists -- simply choose one from the dropdown menu and click connect.

4) You're connected

That's it, you're all set. Your promotion is now connected to your CM Commerce list, and we will send all entry data into the list you selected.

What fields can I pass into CM Commerce?

You can pass the following fields into CM Commerce:

- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
- Address
- Address 2
- City
- State
- Zip
- Country
- Phone
- Birthday
- Referral Link (automatically passed if value exists)
- Campaign Name (automatically passed if value exists)
- Referral Source URL (automatically passed if value exists)

Troubleshooting

If you have connected your campaign to CM Commerce and data is not being passed to your list, these are the most common reasons as to why:

Email already in CM Commerce list
The email address entered into the promotion may already be in your CM Commerce list, so it will not be added again.
Email already entered into ViralSweep
The email address entered into the promotion has already been entered into the promotion previously, so therefore it is not passed to CM Commerce. This can happen if you set up your CM Commerce integration after you have already entered the promotion.
User did not opt-in
The user did not click the link in their double opt-in confirmation email that was sent to them. If they don't click that link, they won't be added to your form. You can disable double opt-in within your CM Commerce settings.
Delay in reporting
CM Commerce is having a delay in reporting. Try checking again in a few hours.

Removing the double opt-in email

To remove the double opt-in email that CM Commerce sends out, simply click on your CM Commerce list, and then under Confirm List Subscription? select OFF. This means that anytime someone enters your promotion, they will automatically get added to your list in CM Commerce.
