1) Connect to Rare

When setting up your campaign, go to the Connect Email Service section and click on Rare.

2) Input Credentials

Input your Rare credentials. You can find your shop name in your Rare account in the top right corner, or by going to Account > Store Settings and looking at the Account Name (not the domain). 

Once you input your credentials, click connect.

3) Choose a list

Once you successfully input your credentials and click the connect button, we will reveal your Rare lists. Simply choose a list from the dropdown menu and click connect.

4) You're connected

That's it, you're all set. Your campaign is now connected to your Rare account, and we will send user data right into your Rare list.

FAQ

What data do you pass to Rare?
ViralSweep will pass the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address

*Please note: Rare does not currently support passing custom fields.
Do you update subscribers? 
Yes, if you run a promotion and we pass someone to Rare, then you run another promotion in the future and the same person enters, we will automatically update their information in Rare (if any new information is provided).

Troubleshooting

If you have connected your campaign to Rare and users are not being added to your list, these are the most common reasons as to why:

Email already in Rare list
The email address entered into the Rare list may already be in your Rare list, so it will not be added again.
Email already entered into ViralSweep
The email address entered into the campaign has already been entered into the campaign previously, so therefore it is not passed to Rare again. This can happen if you set up your Rare integration after you have already entered the campaign.
Delay in reporting
Rare is having a delay in reporting. Try checking again in a few hours.
