1) Connect to Selligent

When setting up your campaign, go to the Connect Email Service section and click on Selligent.

2) Input Credentials

Input your Selligent API Key, API Secret, and Organization name (case sensitive). You may need to contact Selligent support to obtain your credentials.

Once you have your credentials, paste them into ViralSweep.

3) Choose a list

Once you successfully input your credentials and click the connect button, we will reveal your Selligent lists. Simply choose a list from the dropdown menu and click connect.

4) You're connected

That's it, you're all set. Your campaign is now connected to your Selligent account, and we will send user data right into your Selligent list.


What data do you pass to Selligent?
ViralSweep will pass the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Address
- Address 2
- City
- State
- Zip
- Country
- Phone
- Birthday
- Referral URL
- Promotion ID
- Tracking URL source name (if one exists)
- Referral Source URL (if one exists)

Do you update subscribers?
Yes, if you run a promotion and we pass someone to Selligent, then you run another promotion in the future and the same person enters, we will automatically update their information in Selligent (if any new information is provided). Mainly, the referral URL will be updated with the newest URL for each promotion they enter.


If you have connected your campaign to Selligent and users are not being added to your list, these are the most common reasons as to why:

Email already in Selligent list
The email address entered into the Selligent list may already be in your Selligent list, so it will not be added again, but we may update the information for that user.

Email already entered into ViralSweep
The email address entered into the campaign has already been entered into the campaign previously, so therefore it is not passed to Selligent again. This can happen if you set up your Selligent integration after you have already entered the campaign.

Delay in reporting
Selligent is having a delay in reporting. Try checking again in a few hours.
